He completed a one year residency program in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 1996 with emphasis in the mobilization and manipulation of the spine and extremities. He founded WalkWell Foot Orthotics in Beverly,MA in 1997. He has been providing private biomechanical evaluations and fabricating custom foot orthotics for the past 12 years. He trained directly with David Graston, the inventor of the Graston Technique for soft tissue mobilization, in his Indiana clinic and continues to use Graston’s latest instruments of assisted soft tissue mobilization. After years of experimenting with tissue release techniques, he became certified in ART (Active Release Technique) for the Lower Extremity in 2009. In 2008, Chris performed a comprehensive review of the literature on the conservative treatment of plantar fasciitis/plantar fasciosis. His intention is to perform clinical research to validate his physical therapy treatment protocol for plantar fasciosis. He has attended several of the nation’s premier orthotic and biomechanical seminars thru the Prescription Foot and Orthotic Lab Association (PFOLA), When the Foot Hits the Ground courses, and he continues to investigate orthotic, biomechanical, and treatment challenges through self-study. His passion, enthusiasm, and expert knowledge will maximize your outcomes in minimal time. Choose an expert with the knowledge your body deserves.
